How do I get the Registered full version of the program?

How do I get help when I have problems?
Write an email to support@dbestimating.com. Describe the nature of the problem, including as much info as you can. Staff at dbestimating.com will reply as quickly as possible.

How do I configure D&B Estimating for my particular business?
The program allows the user to create and/or modify existing data files to suit specific needs. Example: A material price/labor database can be created within the program to reflect the materials used by a general contractor, HVAC contractor or Plumbing contractor. The same rules apply to the Program logic files (.DAT) The existing can be modified or additional can be created. The program takes you thru step by step in creation of new logic files.

Can I print out the estimate?
Yes, D&B Estimating contains a standard quick print format and has an optional customized print program. The customized program might be used for such things as Change Order justification.

What about updates?
Revisions, patches and the like will be sent to all registered users free of charge as they occur.

Can I make copies of the program?
Archive copies are permitted for registered users and registered users only. No fancy copy protection has been added to the program in order to keep the cost low.

My computer crashed and I don't have a back up copy.
Send an email to support@dbestimating.com. Include your name, address (at time of purchase), email address(at time of purchase) and a phone number where we can contact you. We will verify that you are a registered user and new copy will be made available free, if within one year, $25.00 handling fee if later. This assumes that the version you purchased is still avaiable in our archives.

Can I give a copy to my buddy?
No. Most definitely NO! The only way to finance improvements and program expansion is the fees received by you the user.

How about copies within the company?
Additional licenses are avaiable at a reduced fee. Please contact support@dbestimating.com for details.

Can I install D&B Estimating on my server?
No. D&B Estimating is configured for a single computer application only. The files will not "Share" properly.

I need material files and estimates larger the 2000 entries.
Please send a request to support@dbestimating.com specifying the parameters that your company needs. The program can be modified to meet your request and we will advise you of the expected increase in ram requirements.
